More UGA students study abroad than ever before
The University of Georgia remained a national leader in study abroad, ranked 5th among doctoral/research institutions with 2,060 total study abroad participants in 2006-2007, according to a recently released national “Open Doors” report.

Dining Halls Thanksgiving Break schedule Oglethorpe and Snelling Dining Halls close at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 for Thanksgiving Break. Bolton Dining Hall closes at 8 p.m. on Nov. 21. The Village Summit will be open as follows: Nov. 22 from 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Nov. 23 from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.; Nov. 24-25 from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Nov. 26 from 7 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. All dining halls are closed Nov. 27-28. The Village Summit opens Nov. 29 from 10:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. The Village Summit and Oglethorpe open Nov. 30 from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Regular meal service plan resumes in all facilities on Dec. 1.
