Perhaps related to Wheeler Simple Stamped series of northern Alabama.
Name origin is uncertain.
Simple stamping on fiber-tempered pottery.
Late Archaic.
Very late in the fiber tempered sequence, and probably equivalent to Refuge Simple Stamped series on the Georgia Coast in time.
The Tallahassee area along the Florida Gulf Coast, and into southwestern Georgia.
