Named after Crystal River site, 8Ci1, in Citrus County, Florida.

Seems unlikely that this is present in Georgia.

Sorting Criteria

Punctuations on micaceous-tempered pottery.

The punctuations are counter sunk from the surface of the vessel.

Chronological Range

Middle Woodland Santa Rosa-Swift Creek period.

Geographical Range

Northwestern Florida and perhaps southwestern Georgia.
